Barcelona and Bayern Munich are reportedly involved in a tug-of-war for Juventus midfielder Emre Can.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, interest from both clubs has risen in recent hours.
Emre Can looks to be in the firing line as Juve need to shift a midfielder before Monday’s deadline.
The former Liverpool man also risks being left out of the Old Lady’s Champions League squad. Despite only arriving last summer, the Bianconeri see him as a great source of profit as he joined on a free transfer.
With that in mind, the newspaper claims they are prepared to sell him for a fee of €30-35m. Juve have already held talks with Barca over the 25-year-old, while Bayern are in need of a long-term replacement for Javi Martinez. Although he did not take part in his side’s Serie A opener against Parma last weekend, he has been called up to the Germany squad for their September internationals.
